The name Reiki is a Japanese word that means “universal life-force energy” Reiki is a holistic healing system, it works to create spiritual, mental and physical harmony.

Reiki is described as a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing.
A Reiki session usually lasts one hour, wear loose comfortable clothing.
With the client lying relaxed on a treatment table or bed, the practitioner performs a series of hand positions from the head to the feet, both front and back. The practitioner holds each hand position for a few minutes while channelling Reiki energy. The client may experience warmth to that area or a range of sensations travelling through the body.
Reiki is a safe, non-intrusive healing energy which channels itself to wherever it is needed in the body. By stimulating the body’s natural healing ability at the deepest level it removes physical and emotional blockages that may have been causing illness.
Reiki originates from the universal source and is channelled through the practitioner. Reiki is beneficial for the reduction of pain, stress and tension, it promotes healing and enhances vitality and wellbeing.
