The Metamorphic Technique was developed by Robert St John a British Naturopath and Reflexologist. He focused on the nine months of gestation called pre natal therapy. Robert St John found that by stimulating the reflex points for the gestational period in the feet hands and head change could occur through our own power to heal ourselves.
The Metamorphic Technique has a self healing quality. Using the Metamorphic Technique the practitioner is a catalyst that stimulates change. The name Metamorphic describes the potential for change. Metamorphosis is the movement from who we are to who we can be, there by letting go of old patterns to allow the freedom to move forward and bring about change in our lives.
During a Metamorphic session – specific reflexes on the feet, hands and head are massaged. This is a relaxing treatment, wear loose comfortable clothing.
The Metamorphic Technique can be helpful for people going through times of change or stress to help them rebalance and move forward if transition is required.
Treatments are usually one hour and spaced a week apart to allow time to adjust to the changes.
